2.) CB Charles Woodson rejoins the Oakland Raiders.<\/p>\n

3.) The Los Angeles Kings defeat the San Jose Sharks in Game 5 of the NHL Western Conference Semifinals by the score of 3-0. Jonathan Quick records his second shutout of the series and his third of the postseason. With the win, the Kings lead the series 3-2.<\/p>\n

4.) Flynn Robinson, who was on the 1971-1972 Lakers team that won Los Angeles its first NBA title, died yesterday at age 72.<\/p>\n

5.) On this day in 2000, 12-time all-star point guard Isiah Thomas and two-time championship winning center Bob McAdoo were inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

6.) On Wednesday, May 22, head coach Phil Jackson described his reaction when he received the news from Los Angeles\u2019 Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak: \u201cI laughed. It was humorous to me when Mitch said that we think that Mike [D\u2019Antoni] is a better coach for this group of guys.”<\/p>\n

7.) On this day in 1967, the Cincinatti Bengals were born into the AFL.<\/p>\n

8.) Happy birthday to Hall of Fame Detroit Pistons guard Joe Dumars, who turns 50 today.<\/p>\n

9.) After eight Pro Bowl seasons, a Defensive Player of the Year award in 2005, a trip to the Super Bowl in 2006, and 13 seasons of being a dominant NFL linebacker, former Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher retires at age 34 on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

10.) Rowland High School sophomore linebacker Adrian Campos 2012 stats: 106 total tackles, 9.6 tackles a game (led team in both categories).<\/p>\n
