I don\u2019t think this \u201cWildcat\u201d fad, as Villathedevil likes to call it, is going away.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t matter what you look like or how you line up, as\u00a0long as blockers block, runners run and coaches coach,” said Temple City HC Anthony White.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI was totally impressed with the “Wildcat” offense and can see it spreading like the flu throughout football. I think it would work best with a guy who can really run and throw from that position. We used (Jose) Garay a lot in that way the last couple of years when he ran for over 700 yards in each year. It is a good “twist” to your offense, but in the end execution is the key, no matter what offense you run, you gotta execute,\u201d said former South El Monte HC Erick Escamilla.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe main defensive problem is that the \u201cWildcat\u201d sort of has the effect of a 12 man offense. Great players make any style of offense look really good!” Said current San Marino OC Mike Mooney.<\/p>\n “It must be great to have those types of tools to work with. Teams on the defensive side have to account and practice for different types of packages. This makes a defensive coordinator’s job that much harder. You also have to spend more of your practice time scheming them up,” said Wilson HC Brian Zavala.<\/p>\n Oh, I have always been a Braylon Edwards fan!
