The Chiefs added three more to their lead after Moreno kicked a 35-yard field just before the break.<\/p>\n<p>The Don&#8217;s tried to tie the game but their 29-yard field goal was blocked in the closing seconds of the first half. At the end of the half Santa Fe lead El Rancho 13-10.<\/p>\n<p>In the third, following a fumble, both Araujo and Arron Escareno ran the ball to score the teams first offensive touchdown. Araujo scored on a 15-yard run, reclaiming the lead, 17-13.<\/p>\n<p>Following an Escareno rushing touchdown, the Dons defense shut out the Chiefs offense for the remainder of the game. Andy Alanic started the rally after he retuned an interception for six. Ronledo recoverd a fumble and turned it into points. The final touchdown came when Araujo retuned his interception 57-yards.<\/p>\n<p>***Santa Fe had defeated El Rancho five consecutive times (2008-2012) prior to last night.<\/p>\n<p>***The victory was The Ranch\u2019s first over the SF since 2007 when Ray Madrid scored a pair of touchdowns to lead ER to a 19-13 victory.<\/p>\n<p>***The Don&#8217;s defense outscored the Chief offense 21-13.<\/p>\n<p>***Santa Fe committed 6 turnovers.
