4.) The Division VII semifinals were played on this date in 2004: At Covina District Field\u00a0 Kevin Mort threw four touchdown passes and South Hils defeated Arroyo 41-18. Across town, on the same night, at West Covina the Bulldogs rallied from a 27-17 deficit to defeat Walnut 31-27. WC\u2019s Xavier Tucker\u2019s 45-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter highlighted the comeback.<\/p>\n

Last Note WestCo: During the regular season the Bulldogs lost to both Walnut (13-10) and South Hills (17-10) only to avenge both to win their first CIF title under Mike Maggiore.<\/p>\n
