No second team, no third team, and we don\u2019t make someone an MVP to move them up and then slide someone else into their position. Lot of debate. In the end we realize we\u2019ve made a couple of people happy and a whole host of others very angry. Our choices, we stand by them.)<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>OFFENSE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quarterback:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Frankie Palmer\u2014La Serna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(Frankie Football just didn\u2019t make the team again, he got it done. Ending his prep career in serious style. Names like Ryan Meredith, Brian Gadsby, Jorge Reyna, and Dejon Williams came up&#8230;but Palmer was unanimous.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Running Backs:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rashaad Penny\u2014Norwalk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>James Williams&#8211;Burbank<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Estaurdo Marcos&#8211;Los Altos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(Penny returns from last year\u2019s team. James \u201cThe Body Electric\u201d Williams was unanimous as well. Marcos\u2019 spot came to a battle between him and D-Bar\u2019s Tyler Brown and, Marcos prevailed on a split vote.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Wide Receivers:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Oharjee Brown&#8211;Burbank<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthew Rosales&#8211;La Serna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(In a division loaded with great quarterbacks there weren\u2019t very many receivers with eye popping numbers (only one (Takata at Santa Fe) had over a thousand yards). Brown and Rosales were the best consistently when it counted the most for their teams.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Offensive Line:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Left Tackle: Kammy Delp, Diamond Ranch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Left Guard: Aaron Armendarez, Norwalk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Center: Aaron Gomez, La Serna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Right Guard: David Tolmachoff, Los Altos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Right Tackle: Enrique Huerta, La Serna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(Every one of the players below are listed in their proper 2013 position. We take the longest on this area with all of our teams because we want to get it right. The last thing we want to do is pick five guys, three guards and two centers to make an all star offensive line. Because we slot to specific positions a lot of great players get left out.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Kicker:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Diego Sanchez\u2014Bellflower<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>DEFENSE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Defensive Line:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>DE: Luis Camacho&#8211;La Serna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DT: Christian McQueen&#8211;Bonita<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DT: David Jimenez&#8211;Los Altos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DE: Uriah Dillon Leiataua&#8211;Dominguez<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(Went four deep on the front wall instead of the traditional three.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Linebackers:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>OLB: Tevita Sina&#8211;Los Altos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MLB: Richard Bramble&#8211;Santa Fe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>OLB: Tristan Esparza&#8211;Downey<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(Linebacker was a struggle this year. It might be a reach, but we moved Sina from defensive end to linebacker. Hey if the 49ers can do it with Aldon Smith why can\u2019t we?)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Defensive Backs:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>CB: Taeon Mason&#8211;Muir<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CB: Sidney Jones&#8211;West Covina<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SS: Tytus Simmons&#8211;Artesia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FS: Brian Lamb&#8211;Diamond Bar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(We really liked Simmons even though he was under the radar at Artesia, but it also seemed like Jones was under the radar at WestCo this season. Lamb was terrific and for Mason it is just the beginning.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Punter:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cory Bojorquez\u2014Mayfair<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(Another excellent punter for the Monsoons.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Return Specialist:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jordan Lobianco\u2014Crescenta Valley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(Special player and he\u2019s back in 2014.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Patrick Perrigue Award (Utility)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tyler Brown\u2014Diamond Bar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(This guy is a stud.
