Paraclete’s Melquise Stovall<\/p><\/div>\n

(We\u2019ve said it before. No second team, no third team, and we don\u2019t make someone an MVP to move them up and then slide someone else into their position. Lot of debate. In the end we realize we\u2019ve made a couple of people happy and a whole host of others very angry. Our choices, we stand by them.)<\/i><\/p>\n

OFFENSE<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Quarterback:<\/span><\/p>\n

Nathan Coto–Arroyo<\/b><\/p>\n

(Coto and Baldwin Park\u2019s Moran were the initial back and forth. Coto\u2019s post season put him over the top. There was a late push for San Dimas\u2019 Josh Avila but in the end it was unanimous for the Arroyo quarterback.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Running Backs:<\/span><\/p>\n

Kurt Scoby–Monrovia<\/b><\/p>\n

Melquise Stovall—Paraclete<\/b><\/p>\n

Joseph Mayorga–San Dimas<\/b><\/p>\n

(Nothing wrong with these three running backs, except its missing a fourth. No one felt good about San Dimas\u2019 Fausto Martinez not making the squad, but there was no place to put him.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Wide Receivers:<\/span><\/p>\n

Isaiah Renfro–Sierra Canyon<\/b><\/p>\n

Nico Lozano–Arroyo<\/b><\/p>\n

(It was the year of the running back in the Mid-Valley Divison.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Offensive Line:<\/span><\/p>\n

Left Tackle: Jared Trujillo–San Dimas<\/b><\/p>\n

Left Guard: D\u2019errick Chambers–Paraclete\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Center: Josh Cano–Monrovia\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Right Guard: Mark Rangel–Arroyo\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Right Tackle: Mike Zapata–San Dimas<\/b><\/p>\n

(Slotted where they should be. There are some names (Fidel Castro, Isaiah Clay, Mason Van Kirk) that were pushed out because of space.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Kicker:<\/span><\/p>\n

Noah Zgrablich–Sierra Canyon<\/b><\/p>\n

DE: Chad Hall–Paraclete<\/b><\/p>\n

DT: Robert Sanchez–Arroyo<\/b><\/p>\n

DE: Jared Brito–Northview<\/b><\/p>\n

(We don\u2019t think people talk enough about how good Sanchez is.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Linebackers:<\/span><\/p>\n

OLB: Triston Brown–Paraclete\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

ILB: Jesus Calvillo–Arroyo\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

ILB: Josiah Erickson–San Dimas<\/b><\/p>\n

OLB: Darryl Aggers–Pomona<\/b><\/p>\n

(M-Town\u2019s Logan Craig should be here, this list was not unanimous. The linebackers are slotted as to where they played. Note on Aggers: Dude played everywhere for the Red Devils.)<\/em><\/p>\n
