The Tornadoes cut the lead to\u00a0eight\u00a0by the end of the third quarter\u00a0and got as close as two\u00a0late in the game but Pasadena survived.\u00a0Ajon Efferson led the Bulldogs and all scorers with 19 points while Rayjon Moore\u00a0added 12.<\/p>\n<p>***Pasadena outscored\u00a0Hoover 24-12\u00a0in the second to open up a comfortable 38-25 halftime lead.\u00a0Efferson\u00a0had eight points in the quarter and Nick Brown had seven.<\/p>\n<p>***Brown\u00a0and Tyrek Adams\u00a0joined Efferson and Moore in double figures\u00a0with 10 and 11 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>***The Tornadoes caught fire in the third quarter going on a 17-6 run after Pasadena scored\u00a0the first six points. Kevin Nazari\u00a0hit a pair of threes in the third and\u00a0had 10 in the quarter overall.<\/p>\n<p>***Nazari (18) and Teo Davidian (19) combined for 37 of Hoover&#8217;s 59 points. Davidian had nine in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p>***Argin Sarkisian was also in doubles for Hoover with\u00a012.<\/p>\n<p>***Hoover cut the lead to 61-59 late in the fourth\u00a0but the Bulldogs\u00a0followed with two straight stops to hold on.<\/p>\n<p>***Adams had to change\u00a0jersey numbers from\u00a04 to 25\u00a0after a cut to his mouth\u00a0in the first quarter caused\u00a0him to get blood on his\u00a0first jersey.<\/p>\n<p>***Hoover hit eight threes in the contest compared to three for the Dogs.<\/p>\n<p>***In the second quarter Pasadena scored the first nine points.<\/p>\n<p>***Pasadena improves to 8-1 in the Pacific League and 13-8 overall.
