He&#8217;s hoping to latch on at some point this season at any level.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Given what we&#8217;ve seen with transfers and the quarterback problems of the LA KISS, I think there might be a market for a traditional pocket passer like myself,&#8221; said Torosian in an interview after the Creston throw. It was a good day for him as he fired seven touchdown passes and had only one pick. &#8220;Truth is everyone is looking for that younger mobile quarterback, but I believe there is a place for a guy like me who can stand strong in the pocket and face a pass rush.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Others aren&#8217;t convinced.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_39899\" style=\"width: 530px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/midvalleysports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/DSC_0312.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39899\" class=\"size-large wp-image-39899\" src=\"http:\/\/midvalleysports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/DSC_0312-1024x525.jpg\" alt=\"Calling out the plays at the line of scrimmage against some tough competition.\" width=\"520\" height=\"266\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-39899\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Calling out the plays at the line of scrimmage against some tough competition.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Joe has been asking me for a tryout at each of my coaching stops,&#8221; said current Buena Park OC Jude Oliva. &#8220;Truth is given his age, arm limitations, and his body type he doesn&#8217;t work with most of the passing schemes being employed today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ll pass,&#8221; said El Monte OC Brian Tabatabai.<\/p>\n<p>Arroyo HC Jim Singiser was a little more blunt; &#8220;He&#8217;s out of his f-bombing mind!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Torosian knows he has his critics, but continues to forge ahead.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can play, and I&#8217;m going to keep pursuing it.
