(La Canada) St. Francis won the coin toss, deferred to the second half, and very little went right for Chino as the Golden Knights rolled to a 41-7 victory at St. Francis High School.<\/p>\n
All 6 touchdown drives for St. Francis in the 1st half took 2 1\/2 minutes or less.
\nThe Cowboys punted after their opening possession. On the Knights second play, Jeremiah Martin threw a perfect pass to a wide open Dylan Crawford in the endzone. He inexplicably dropped it, but it just put off the inevitable. Six plays later Areg Nazarian ran in from 14-yards out for the first score of the game.<\/p>\n
Areg Nazarian continued his strong running (9 carries – 134 yards) with touchdown runs of 43-yards and 35-yards. Martin (11 of 16, 216 yards 3TD’s 0 INT’s) balanced out the offensive onslaught with touchdown passes to John Carroll, Crawford and Avery Williams.
\nThe start of the second half saw the beginning of a running clock as St. Francis HC Jim Bonds put in his second string.
