Arroyo finished the first quarter with a 62-yard bomb from Miller to senior wide receiver Anthony Barcelo as time expired.<\/p>\n<p>Injuries haunted the Rams in the second half, as seven of their starters hit the ground and required assistance to get back to their sideline, including senior wide receiver Kyle Floyd, who scored three touchdowns in the game.<\/p>\n<p>*** Six of the game\u2019s 10 touchdowns were plays that were 50 yards or more &#8212; three of these six plays took place within the first 3 minutes and 30 seconds of the game.<\/p>\n<p>*** Four different players crossed the goal line for Temple City while five different players reached the endzone for Arroyo<\/p>\n<p>*** Miller was involved in five of the six touchdowns scored by the Knights.<\/p>\n<p>*** Temple City\u2019s top offensive performer was Floyd, carrying the ball six times for 99 yards and a touchdown and catching the ball three times for 42 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>*** Arroyo senior running back Johnny Amezcua broke the 100-yard mark &#8212; he rushed for 111 yards and on 12 carries and also had five receptions for 35 yards.<\/p>\n<p>*** Temple City head coach Rod Castaneda: \u201cThis is nothing against Arroyo, but \u2026 Arroyo didn\u2019t beat Temple City. Temple City beat Temple City tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>*** The final score of the game came with 11:22 left in the fourth quarter when a Temple City onside kick was returned for a 45-yard touchdown by Arroyo sophomore reserve Daniel Hernandez.<\/p>\n<p>*** The Rams only converted one of their five attempted two-point conversions.<\/p>\n<p>*** Arroyo head coach Jim Singiser on the team\u2019s progress after two games: \u201cThe kids played hard, but we\u2019re not a very good football team right now. We\u2019ve just got to get a better look Monday through Thursday.
