Alhambra's Darrian Cazarin is looking to take it to The Bank this week.<\/p><\/div>\n

Six of the Old School are in the playoffs, only two are expected to advance. A couple of upsets could be brewing that would shock the valley.The last time Temple City and Arcadia missed the playoffs in the same year? 1987, the Apaches went 2-7-1 that year too. The two wins came against TC and M-Town. Old School Mid Valley appears weekly at www.midvalleysports.com<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

1.) Monrovia (10-0): Best team in the \u201cOld School\u201d? Best team in the Mid-Valley? Tis the season to prove it.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.) Arroyo (8-2): Knights playing best ball now, don\u2019t know what they are getting in Whittier Christian…Doesn\u2019t matter, Arroyo needs to advance…<\/span><\/p>\n

3.) San Gabriel (6-4): Fabian Amaro or Arthur Brown, one of them, or both of them, need to step up in the WC. And if they do, and if they do, hello second round…<\/span><\/p>\n

4.) Alhambra (6-3): Can they catch old Foothill League rival Burbank napping? <\/span><\/p>\n

5.) Temple City (5-4-1): Time to put on Sinatra and start to cry.<\/span><\/p>\n

6.) Rosemead (5-5): Ranked sixth, because if we rank them seventh Koffler will be too happy. Can they surprise San Marino? Yes. Will they? MMMmmm?<\/span><\/p>\n

7.) Arcadia (2-7-1): \u201cEvery now and then I get a little bit nervous that the best of all the years have gone by…\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

8.) South El Monte (3-7): The Southmen are in the playoffs…What\u2019s the Vulcan farewell? Oh yeah, \u2018Live long and prosper\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

9.) Gabrielino (3-7): \u201cIt’s plain to see we’re over, I hate when things are over. When so much is left undone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

10.) El Monte (1-9): Let the Manuel Santa Cruz era begin.<\/span><\/p>\n

11.) Mt. View (0-10): \u201cThere\u2019s Iceland, or the Philippines, or Hastings…or this place!\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n
