El Monte improves to 1-1 in league.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">South El Monte 40 Gabrielino 36 \u00a0FINAL &#8211; South El Monte wins the shootout\u00a0of Eagles. Jaime Michel hit\u00a0Angel Reyes on a 22-yard TD pass late in the fourth for the win. LP also had two interception returns for scores. Schurr&#8217;s Adam Polanco accounted for 140 yards and two touchdowns for Schurr. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Cathedral 36 Verbum Dei 0 FINAL- Phantoms inprove to 5-0; have outscored last three opponents 115-3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Chino 30 Rowland 16\u00a0FINAL\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> Montclair 41 Wilson 7 FINAL<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Maranatha 41 Mountain View 6 FINAL &#8211; Eli Snyder threw for 155 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Caleb Devine rushed for 106 yards and two scores for the Minutemen who improve to 6-0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Lynwood 56 Firebaugh 0\u00a0FINAL &#8211; The Knights\u00a0are perfect at 5-0 after burning Firebaugh.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Southeast Division<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #008000; text-decoration: underline;\">Pacific League<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\">Glendale 28 Arcadia 14 &#8211; FINAL- Daniel Jung rushed for\u00a0126 yards and Glendale racked up nearly 300 yards in total offense.\u00a0Abraham Martinez also had a key interception. It was the first time Glendale has beaten Arcadia since 1991.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Pasadena 47 Hoover 0 FINAL &#8211; Pasadena quarterbck Jorge Reyna didn&#8217;t play but it didn&#8217;t slow down the Bulldogs. Tyrek Adams stepped in for Reyna and accounted for four total touchdowns.\u00a0He was 4 of 11 for 124 yards and two scores and he also scored twice on the ground.\u00a0Pasadena\u00a0turned three turnovers into 21 points.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #008000;\">Suburban League<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\"> Mayfair 42 Artesia 21 FINAL &#8211; The Monsoons fell behind in the first quarter but Isaiah Jackson hit Ricky Hickson on a TD strike in the second to get the rally started. Faizon Creighton got loose for a 42-yard TD run in the second to give Mayfair the lead that they never relinquished.\u00a0Monsoons are 1-1 in league.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Norwalk 62 Cerritos 8 FINAL &#8211; Chris Walker had\u00a0three touchdowns (rushing, receiving, return) and sophomore Carlos Jaurequi scored twice on the ground. Tyrant Davis,\u00a0Joseph Armas, Jordan\u00a0Thomas, and Ryan McDowell also found paydirt.\u00a0Ausencio Navarro fired two TD passes for the Lancers who improve to 4-2, 2-0 in league.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #008000;\">Non-League<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\">El Rancho 47 Katella 14 FINAL &#8211; Andrew Perea rushed for three scores and threw for one while piling up 192 yards passing to lead the Dons. El Rancho exploded for 34 points in the second quarter to erase an early deficit. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\">Warren 42 Gardena 16- FINAL &#8211; Warren improves to 3-2 in the SGV league with the victory. Kevin Bizub scores on a catch from Michael Morales to give Ayala a seven point lead before the half. Spartan kicker Matt Amrhein kicks field goals of 36 and 37 to help the offense. Dylan Thigpen scores a touchdown to lead Damien&#8217;s offense.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Pacific 34 Bloomington 8 FINAL<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Moreno Valley 28 Colton 14\u00a0FINAL &#8211; Tough start to the season continues for Yellowjackets after\u00a0going down early to Vikings. After going two straight games without a score, Colton finally find the end zone as Alex Toledo finds Augustine Uribe for a 26 yard touchdown reception. Michael Partida threw for 115 yards and a score and Max Luck led the team with 71 receiving yards.<\/p>\n<p>Great Oak 42 Summit 21 FINAL &#8211; Wolfpack starts quick going up 35-7 before the Sky Hawks finally get their offense going. Great Oak offense was mainly Nick Fisher who scored four touchdowns with runs of 22 and 58 yards.
