(Photo by Andrew Bettridge)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>By Alex Gonzalez<\/p>\n<p>(Chino Hills)\u2014 Glendora quarterback Matt Fink rushed for 165-yards and scored three touchdowns in the Tartans 27-7 win over Ayala Friday night at Ayala High School.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It didn&#8217;t take long for Glendora to find the end zone in the first half. Fink scored his first touchdown mid-way through the first quarter when he slipped his way to paydirt\u00a0 from 69-yards out. However, they failed to convert the point after.<\/p>\n<p>Following Fink\u2019s second touchdown, a one yard sneak in the second quarter, Ayala\u2019s best first half scoring opportunity came when Brian Papazian missed a 35-yard kick with 4:45 left to play.<\/p>\n<p>The Bulldogs got a second chance to score after Fink fumbled a snap in the third quarter but Papazian hooked the 23-yard field to the left.<\/p>\n<p>On the ensuing possession Glendora running back Noah Holmes ended the debate when he added six more from 48-yards out making it 20-0.<\/p>\n<p>Ayala finally scored with 8:37 in the fourth when back up quarterback Isaiah Flowers connected with Jimmy Valle from 44-yards out.<\/p>\n<p>Fink added his third touchdown two minutes later making the score 27-7.<\/p>\n<p>***\u201cFink is a big part of our offense, so is our offensive line, our running backs,\u201d said Tartan head coach Jerry Lewallen, \u201cIt\u2019s a collective group and we need everybody to keep raising their game up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>***Glendora Starting Offensive live<br \/>\nLT 76 Ben Northup<br \/>\nLG 64 Nathan Castanon<br \/>\nC 60 Tanner Glick<br \/>\nRG 70 David Label<br \/>\nRT 63 Matt Mcconnell<\/p>\n<p>***Ayala Starting Offensive line<br \/>\nLT 50 Kyle Parido<br \/>\nLG 59 Tito Bucheli<br \/>\nC 57 Sean Smeerdyk<br \/>\nRG 73 Andre Rodriguez<br \/>\nRT 63 N\/A<\/p>\n<p>***Matt Fink 3-11 passing for 47-yards. 15 carries for 165-yards three touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>***\u201cOur line is good and they\u2019re big.
