The Conquerors were in control the rest of the way,\u00a0leading 45-21 in the fourth quarter before the Wildcats scored twice late.<\/p>\n<p>Monrovia couldn&#8217;t match\u00a0Los Altos&#8217; strength up front as the\u00a0Conquerors dominated the line of scrimmage all night and eventually wore the Wildcats down.<\/p>\n<p>Asaph Zamora hit on a couple of\u00a0big plays for Monrovia\u00a0hitting Octavius Spencer\u00a0on a 63-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to cut the Los Altos lead to 21-14.\u00a0But the Conqs scored the next 17 points to go up\u00a038-21 before the Cats scored again.<\/p>\n<p>***Tevita Sina scored the other\u00a0touchdown for Los Altos\u00a0on a 43-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.<\/p>\n<p>***Monrovia scored first on the opening possession when Jordan Nathan scored on a 65-yard run.\u00a0Nathan had three touchdowns, two receiving, on the night and 165 total yards.<\/p>\n<p>***Zamora threw\u00a0three touchdown passes\u00a0for Monrovia\u00a0overall but it wasn&#8217;t enough.<\/p>\n<p>***Nevens&#8217; 29-yard scamper in the fourth\u00a0with just over nine minutes left in the contest gave Los Altos&#8217; a 45-21 lead and\u00a0for intents and purposes, iced it.<\/p>\n<p>***Monrovia beat Los Altos 27-25\u00a0on September 26 at Monrovia.<\/p>\n<p>***Monrovia finished 10-2 overall. It&#8217;s only other loss was at St. Francis 35-13\u00a0on September 19.<\/p>\n<p>***Los Altos improved to 7-5 and has won five of its last six games.<\/p>\n<p>***After the Wildcats cut the lead to 21-14, Nevens scored on a 44-yard run and Hunter Smith booted a 22-yard field goal as the clock ran out in the first half to make it 31-14.<\/p>\n<p>***Los Altos will face Bonita, who beat West Covina,\u00a0next week in the Semi-Finals.<\/p>\n<p>***Nevens can do more than just play football.
