Jordan Lobianco’s two touchdowns leads the West to victory.<\/p><\/div>\n

(West Covina) – Crescenta Valley’s\u00a0Jordan Lobianco caught a pair of touchdown passes and Brian Reyes of Muir\u00a0intercepted two passes including one for a touchdown to lead the West to a 31-14 win over the East Friday night in the Hall of Fame All-Star Game at West Covina High School.<\/p>\n

Reyes picked off East quarterback Christian Lara\u00a0and returned it 82 yards for a touchdown\u00a0with just over eight minutes left in the fourth quarter to seal it. The\u00a0pick six gave the West a 31-7 lead and ended all East hopes for a comeback.\u00a0Reyes had also intercepted\u00a0Lara in the first half to halt a drive.\u00a0Reyes was named MVP for his efforts.<\/p>\n

The East scored a late touchdown when La Mirada’s Lara\u00a0found Manny Luna of Pomona in the end zone for a seven yard strike with 6:14 left to round out the scoring.<\/p>\n

Lobianco, who did everything in leading CV to the title, did\u00a0a little bit of everything for the West too.\u00a0He scored the first touchdown of the game hauling in a 22 yard pass from Maranatha’s\u00a0Eli Snyder\u00a0in the second quarter for a 10-0 lead.\u00a0Montebello’s Enrique Lozano split the uprights\u00a0from 38 yards out yards out early in the second to put the West up 3-0.<\/p>\n

In the third\u00a0quarter Lobianco, on a trick play, threw a 33 yard pass to Octavius Spencer of Monrovia.\u00a0Later in the third he snagged his second six\u00a0pointer of the night on a 26-yard\u00a0strike from Snyder for a 24-7 advantage.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Spencer he got behind the East secondary\u00a0on the West’s first possession of he second half and caught a 52-yard bomb from Jorge Reyna of Pasadena\u00a0to make it 17-0.<\/p>\n

Lobianco\u00a0caught four passes for 87 yards and Spencer had three\u00a0receptions for\u00a0103 yards. Snyder threw for 104 yards to go with his two TDs.\u00a0Reyna threw for 81 and ran for 49.<\/p>\n

MacKenzie Stenquit of Damien caught five passes for 60 yards and also completed a\u00a0pass for 30 yards to take home MVP honors for the East.\u00a0Lara threw for 124 yards but was hurt by the two interceptions.\u00a0The East had trouble generating a running attack. Verdugo had 27 yards.<\/p>\n

The West victory snapped a seven game East winning streak.\u00a0The East leads 23-11-2 in the series all time.<\/p>\n
