{"id":48008,"date":"2015-05-16T19:00:52","date_gmt":"2015-05-17T02:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/midvalleysports.com\/?p=48008"},"modified":"2015-05-17T00:41:29","modified_gmt":"2015-05-17T07:41:29","slug":"portland-thunder-35-la-kiss-21-half","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/midvalleysports.com\/?p=48008","title":{"rendered":"KISS&#8217; Losing Streak Hits Eight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Tim Peterson<\/p>\n<p>(Portland) &#8211;\u00a0Darron Thomas, in his first start of the season, threw for 229 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Portland Thunder\u00a0to a 63-47 win over the LA KISS Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Danny Southwick, who played for the Thunder last year,\u00a0and was just acquired from the Spokane Shock this week,\u00a0threw five\u00a0TDs for the KISS and 312 yards overall but it wasn&#8217;t nearly enough.<\/p>\n<p>The KISS was down 35-21 at the half but\u00a0Portland\u00a0scored on its first two possessions of the second half\u00a0to put it away.
