Congrats to the Arroyo Knights…A difficult finish to a great year was made better by the addition of quarterback Steven Rivera, wide receiver Chris Rodriguez, safety Mike Chavez, and two-way lineman Javier Lozano to the All-CIF squad. (Lozano making it both on offense and defense)<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking of Arroyo, the boys basketball team has celebrated the return of former coach Carlos Barajas to the bench with four wins in their first six games. The Knights are being led by Mark Roche\u2019s 15-points per game clip.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please tell me the Rams, if they get the top pick, will not waste their number in the draft on either Jimmy Clausen or Sam Bradford…If it\u2019s too early to take one, then slide down and grab another lineman and definitely an outside linebacker…They are not in need of a quarterback just yet…Well they are…but why spend 30-million on a guy who is going to get the crud beat out of him for the next few years?<\/span><\/p>\n

Did she have a redshirt season? She seems like she\u2019s been there since the days of Cindy Poon and Sharky Guerrero…<\/span><\/p>\n

Its been a real rough start for the Lady Mats at San Gabriel this year…Not a senior on the squad, but take heart San Gabriel faithful…Starting in January we will be dropping in a few stories from the Lady Mats celebrated seasons from 30-years ago…It should be fun…<\/span><\/p>\n
