I won\u2019t make any promises this time when column will magically appear, but looking at four days a week.<\/p>\n
This week I have had a chance to be at the Lady Knights Basketball Tournament at Arroyo.\u00a0 Some great little tidbits were dropped in my lap.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn ten years of coaching, you are the first player to do that.\u201d La Canada head coach Tamar Hill commented on Shannon Denney\u2019s nice light pink uniform.<\/p>\n
A few moments later, Grace O\u2019Hara managed to get grease on her uniform.\u00a0 To which Hill commented, \u201cThe hardest part about coaching this year\u2019s team is keeping them focused.\u201d\u00a0 At 9-0, I would say she has done a good job.<\/p>\n
Lady Knights head coach Mike Gorball will have a good team come Mission Valley League with the return of cousins Raydeen and Melissa Perez.<\/p>\n
Gorball also has a good ball player in Joanna Reyes who leads the team in scoring.<\/p>\n
You have to love Bishop Amat\u2019s sophomore Gina Henderson.\u00a0 In Wednesday\u2019s victory over Sierra Vista she made a baseball throw that had everyone in awe.<\/p>\n
Last note for a Saturday, two undefeated women\u2019s teams play today at Arroyo at 6 pm as La Canada and Bishop Amat meet up in the semi-finals.<\/p>\n
