He finished with 259 yards rushing on 24 carries.

Both teams traded punts before Glendora took over with time winding down. Fink, who wasn’t having the best night of his prep career, sub-500 completions and a pick-six in the first quarter, showed why he’s a star. The standout quarterback turned receiver and caught a 37-yard pass from Forrest Arffa that took the ball to the Kaiser ten. One play later he ripped through the center of the Cats defense for the go-ahead score.

Kaiser pushed the ball past mid-field on its ensuing drive, but with less than thirty seconds to play the Tartans James Nolan picked off Joseph Zepeda to close the book.

Scoring summary
1st quarter:
8:30 (Glendora 6-0) Matt Fink 8-yard pass to Tyler Schoenick; PAT fail (wide right).
1:53 (Kaiser 6-6) Tyler Watkins 20-yard interception return; PAT fail (blocked by Michael Lowe Jr).
2nd quarter:
10:30 (Glendora 13-6) — Fink 6-yard pass to Schoenick; Caleb Watkins PAT good.
0:21 (Glendora 16-6) — C.Watkins 30-yard FG.
3rd quarter:
7:12 (Glendora 23-6) — Fink 22-yard run; C.Watkins PAT good.
5:05 (Kaiser 12-23) — Joshua Johnson 33-yard run; 2-point conversion run fail.
4th quarter:
10:14 (Kaiser 18-23) — Johnson 27-yard run; 2-point conversion fail (Schoenick sacked passer(
6:06 (Kaiser 24-23) — Johnson 85-yard run; 2-point conversion run fail.
2:24 (Glendora 29-24) — Fink 10-yard run; 2-point conversion pass fail.

Kaiser
Passing
Joseph Zepeda 3/9-22yds-0 TDs-1int
Tyreque Jones 4/7-29yds-0 TDs-0int
Receiving
Hubert Mann 2 : 21
Vincent Delgado 2 : 14
Joshua Johnson 1 : 9
Alexander Penn 1 : 4
Armani Dodson 1 : 3
Rushing
Joshua Johnson 24 : 259 (3 TDs)
Tyler Allgeier 10 : 59
Jones 7 : 24
Tyler Watkins 2 : 7
Zepeda 1 : 2
Mann 1 : 1

Glendora
Passing
Matt Fink 10/22-158yds-2 TDs-1int
Forrest Arffa 1/1-37yds
Receiving
Luke Hinojos 2 : 64
Jake Karst 3 : 49
Matt Fink 1 : 37
Tyler Schoenick 3 : 22 (2 TDs)
Matthew Hinojos 1 : 15
Michael Lowe Jr 1 : 8
Rushing
Griffen Herrera 14 : 80
Matt Fink 12 : 74 (2 TDs)
Schoenick 2 : 10
team 3 : -15

Kaiser 403 yards (352 rushing; 51 passing)
Glendora 344 yards (195 passing; 149 rushing)

(Stats by DAWG)

By Joe Torosian (Glendora) – Matt Fink scored on a 10-yard run with 2:24 let in the fourth quarter to give Glendora a 29-24 win over Kaiser Thursday night at Citrus College.

[12816

post-50087","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-hsfootball
["GET
