9.) The NCAA will announce on Tuesday that it has banned SMU from the 2016 postseason and suspended Larry Brown for 30 percent of this coming season. The penalties stem from an NCAA investigation into whether members of SMU\u2019s coaching staff helped former McDonald\u2019s All-American Keith Frazier with the coursework he needed to become eligible to play for the Mustangs\u2026SMU is Brown\u2019s third college coaching stop. His first two were at UCLA and Kansas, and he led both schools to the NCAA finals. He won the NCAA title with Kansas.<\/p>\n
