Far be it from me to say somebody might have a problem, but I listened to Colin Cowherd for the first time since he moved to Fox. He was talking with Kristine Leahy this morning about the Memphis Grizzlies fan that hit a half court shot to win free tater tots for life.<\/p>\n

Leahy, then asked Cowherd if there was one food he\u2019d want free for life.<\/p>\n

\u201cVodka,\u201d Cowherd answered.<\/p>\n

Did Michael Wilbon, on \u2018Pardon The Interruption,\u2019 really imply today that Dusty Baker didn\u2019t get an interview with the Nationals, Padres, and Marlins, because he\u2019s black? Because he\u2019s black he couldn\u2019t be considered like one of the other retread managers?<\/p>\n

Baker, one of my favorite all time Dodgers, spent twenty seasons as the manager of the Giants, Cubs, and Reds. I believe he’s been vetted and retreaded.<\/p>\n

If an eyebrow needs to be raised shouldn\u2019t it be with the Dodgers and the consideration being given to Gabe Kapler as their new skipper? I mean, Gabe Kapler? Has that sweathog had a job since \u2018Welcome Back Kotter\u2019 went off the air?<\/p>\n

I know how this is going to be taken, but I have to say it any way. Two things got me back into baseball after almost a decade away. Fantasy and \u2018Quick Pitch\u2019 on the MLB Network.<\/p>\n

I checked out NBA TV\u2019s equivalent to \u2018Quick Pitch\u2019 early this morning…Talk about a yawning festival. The NBA stinks enough on its own, but watching the highlight show was like being mainlined with tryptophan.<\/p>\n

Yes, Heidi Watney is much easier on the eyes than the stiffs on NBA TV, but Watney\u2019s got talent. She\u2019s interesting, you can understand her, and she looks like she’s having fun.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll keep trying, but it\u2019s going to be a long while before I get back to the NBA.<\/p>\n
