Rosemead was too much for Marshall<\/p><\/div>\n

(Rosemead) – The clock ran fast for this game and so did Rosemead in a 41-8 rout of Marshall Friday night in a Mission Valley League contest on Homecoming.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Panthers ignited their crowd early\u00a0as\u00a0Senior\u00a0Robbie Franco ran\u00a0for the\u00a0first touchdown of the game for a 7-0\u00a0Rosemead\u00a0lead.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Early in the second quarter Marshall moved the ball down to the Rosemead 15\u00a0but the Panther defense\u00a0held as a field goal was missed.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Panthers scored again as Franco broke off a 27-yard run\u00a0and\u00a0Steven Nava connected with\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Elisha Garner, at the 5 yard line to set it up. Then Nava hit\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Jordan Parham on a touchdown pass\u00a0to make it\u00a014-0. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With the alumni looking on from the sidelines,\u00a0Camacho plowed into the end zone\u00a0with\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>less than two minutes until halftime to give the\u00a0Panthers a 21-0 lead.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the next series\u00a0Franco\u00a0broke\u00a0through the line and blocked a punt\u00a0to put Rosemead in position again.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With less than a minute left in the half. Franco scores again on a ten-yard run and the Panthers go into the break up 28-0.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the\u00a0third quarter\u00a0Franco got\u00a0his third TD of the night\u00a0for a 35-0 lead.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Felix Montor tacks on the final Panthers’ score\u00a0as he\u00a0finds the end zone just\u00a0eight seconds into the fourth quarter.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Marshall finally gets on the board with five minutes left in the game when\u00a0Duguesclin Paul\u00a0got loose for a 46-yard touchdown. The Eagles added\u00a0the two point\u00a0conversion.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As the final seconds tick off,\u00a0Rosemead students, players, and alumni come together to celebrate their Homecoming victory.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
