He not only has to concern himself with work\u00a0in the classroom\u00a0and\u00a0physical training but he\u00a0has to keep track of all the college offers that he is receiving as well.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>That alone is going to keep him occupied. He has received not one, not two but 12 offers so far\u00a0to play at the next level with more expected to follow.\u00a0He has\u00a0the skills\u00a0to compete\u00a0on the field, that much is clear.\u00a0But he&#8217;s performing in the classroom as well with a 4.0 GPA.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s\u00a0got a great body, 6&#8217;0, 180 lbs, he&#8217;s long and athletic,&#8221;\u00a0said La Mirada\u00a0coach Mike Moschetti. &#8220;He&#8217;s physical and he constantly plays with a chip on his shoulder.\u00a0And he takes his academics very seriously\u00a0as you can see with a 4.0 last semester.\u00a0He&#8217;s a competitor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Who has offered Hicks so far?\u00a0Ok here we go&#8230; Harvard, Yale,\u00a0Wyoming, South Carolina, UCLA and Arizona&#8230;take a breath&#8230;\u00a0California, Arizona State, Colorado,\u00a0Washington State, Oregon State and Boise State.<\/p>\n<p>For Hicks,\u00a0who will be a senior in September, he has the football thing and the classroom stuff covered. Now he will deal\u00a0with the decision of where he will play football in 2017.
