Steven Nava: From Rosemead to North Dakota<\/p><\/div>\n

(Rosemead) – Rosemead quarterback Steven Nava\u00a0has decided to continue his football career at North Dakota State his father\u00a0Larry Nava confirmed Monday. <\/p>\n

Nava will go to the\u00a0Bisons as a walk on, but there is some scholarship money involved.\u00a0Nava chose\u00a0to walk on at\u00a0NDSU despite several other offers.<\/p>\n

“I chose North Dakota State over St. John’s,\u00a0and some division three schools in California.\u00a0I visited in late February\u00a0for the admissions tour\u00a0for a day and then this past Friday for a day,” Steven Nava told the Bison Report. “Coach Hedberg showed me all of the athletic facilities and then gave me a tour of the\u00a0Fargodome. The facilities at NDSU are easily the best of any school I visited.\u00a0Can’t wait to get my locker and be a part of it all.”<\/p>\n

North Dakota State\u00a0is a Division 1 AA school located in\u00a0Fargo that last season featured the possible number one overall pick in the NFL draft in Carson Wentz.<\/p>\n

Last year at Rosemead\u00a0Nava threw for 2,991 yards and 30 touchdowns with just five interceptions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
