Burroughs running back Chance Bell, who is heading into this third year as the Indians starting running back, has received offers from Illinois, Iowa St., Northern Arizona, and Eastern Washington.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s only 832 yards away from breaking the school rushing record,\u201d said former Burroughs HC Keith Knoop. \u201cAnd we have a long list of studs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Knoop said he expects more offers to come.<\/p>\n

Bell has rushed for 2,502 yards and 32 touchdowns. He trails the two below:

If three college professors and a senator declared the name \u201cAngels\u201d violated the separation of \u2018church and sport\u2019 ESPN would reference the team Mike Trout plays for as the Los Angeles American League Franchise.<\/p>\n

Which would work out great for Arte Moreno\u2026it\u2019s been a while since the club had a name change.<\/p>\n

Is it just me or have the Colorado Rockies become fun to watch? I\u2019ve always held that the best thing about Rockies baseball was Coors Field\u2026but this team is pretty good.<\/p>\n

Sorry to hear about the passing of Pearl Washington. I\u2019m old enough to remember hearing about him when he was being recruited and Dick Vitale declaring him a Diaper Dandy after he landed at Syracuse\u2026But I thought, with much less fanfare, Sherman Douglas was a superior point guard. (\u201cGeneral Sherman\u201d also had a hands-down better pro career) It seemed Douglas didn\u2019t need to dominate the ball as much as Washington did, and it was with Douglas the Orangemen reached the NCAA finals in 1987.<\/p>\n
