2. Northview quarterback Steven Comstock receives his first offer\u00a0from the University of Idaho.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Former Temple City\u00a0O-Lineman and current\u00a0part time Mid Valley Sports staffer Josh Ouellette joins the Buena Park staff as a line coach.<\/p>\n

4. Crescenta Valley and\u00a0Charter Oak are both hosting passing tournaments this Saturday.<\/p>\n

5. Former Los Angeles Laker forward\u00a0Jim McMillian\u00a0passed away Monday at the age of 68. McMillian replaced Elgin Baylor who retired early in the season, and was the third leading scorer on the 1971-’72 Lakers team\u00a0that had an NBA record 33 game winning streak and\u00a0won the franchise’s first championship.<\/p>\n

6. The Lakers land the number two overall pick in the NBA draft lottery.\u00a0Philadelphia got the number one pick\u00a0with\u00a0Boston, Phoenix and Minnesota at 3, 4, and 5 respectively.<\/p>\n

7. Mary Star of the Sea at\u00a0Temple City, today\u00a03:15 p.m. – Division\u00a05 Wildcard.<\/p>\n

8. Former Detroit Tigers second baseman\/IF Dick McAuliffe passed away\u00a0last Friday at the age of 76. McAuliffe spent 1960-1973 with the Tigers and 1974 and ’75 with the Boston Red Sox. He won a World Series with Detroit in 1968.<\/p>\n

9. The Indiana Pacers\u00a0promoted assistant Nate McMillan to head coach. McMillan replaces Frank Vogel who was fired\u00a0earlier this month.<\/p>\n

10. Happy Birthday to “Mr. October” Reggie Jackson who turns 70 today.<\/p>\n
