Alhambra alum, Noe Ramirez<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Great to see Alhambra alum Noe Ramirez get called up again by the Boston RedSox.<\/p>\n

Ramirez played in 108 games for the Moors over four varsity seasons (2005-2008) and piled up some big numbers.<\/p>\n

A .413 batting average, 3 home runs, 84 Rbis,\u00a0and 147 hits.<\/p>\n

On the mound, the place where he makes his living nowadays, Ramirez started 37 games, completed 19 of them, fired 7 shutouts, collected 11 saves, and compiled a 27-7 record. He worked 250 innings, walked 40, and K’d 298 while holding batters to a .180 average.<\/p>\n

Ramirez was drafted in the fourth round by the Red Sox in 2011 out of Cal State Fullerton. He made his MLB debut last July.<\/p>\n

He replaces Joe Kelly on the Boston roster.<\/p>\n
