(Alhambra) – Alhambra racked up 375\u00a0yards on the ground and 417 total in a 34-8 rout of Temple City Friday night at Moor Field.<\/p>\n

Salman\u00a0Gurung led the way with 145 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns and Dominic\u00a0Wilson added 99 yards\u00a0and a score. Wilson ran 40 yards for a touchdown on a fake punt\u00a0in the third quarter. Gurung’s third quarter TD scamper was good for 50 yards\u00a0in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n

For Temple City quarterback Justin Bowman was 11 of 21 for 116 yards with no interceptions.\u00a0He rushed 32 yards for a score\u00a0and then connected with Rudy Barragan for a two point conversion to cut the Moors’ lead to 14-8 just before halftime.<\/p>\n

Alhambra forced Bowman into three lost fumbles, two of which led to Moor scores in the third quarter which increased Alhambra’s led to 27-8.<\/p>\n

Alhambra improved to 1-2 with the win while the Rams dropped to 0-3.<\/p>\n
