Also right now the Minutemen\u00a0don&#8217;t have the offense to keep up with a fast team like the Apaches.\u00a0So if Arcadia breaks out early\u00a0it could be over quick.\u00a0Jahlique Stephens (324 yards rushing)\u00a0and the Apaches could have a field day.\u00a0Arcadia&#8230;big.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arcadia 35 Maranatha 14\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Damien (3-0) at Charter Oak (3-0)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Damien could be the one team that gives Charter Oak some trouble.\u00a0The Spartans have come out of the gate\u00a0with three straight victories including a win over a tough Chino team in Zero Week.\u00a0But this\u00a0Charter Oak team is a different animal.\u00a0The Chargers aren&#8217;t just beating opponents,\u00a0they&#8217;re chewing them up and spitting them out.\u00a0They&#8217;ve outscored their first three opponents 150-32. No that&#8217;s not a typo. These are opponents that were given a legitimate shot to beat the Chargers coming in.\u00a0Brett Clemetson, Brian Casteel,\u00a0and Jermaine Braddock are just too much. Damien might hang for awhile but CO eventually rolls. Chargers go 4-0.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charter Oak 38 Damien 10\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Muir (2-0) at La Salle (2-1) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We don&#8217;t know a whole lot about the Mustangs opponents.\u00a0They pounded Compton and then had their hands full in a 6-0\u00a0win over\u00a0Desert Oasis (Las Vegas). When was the last time you saw Desert Oasis play?\u00a0I do know this, the Vegas team is 0-3. On the flip side,\u00a0La Salle\u00a0has been raising some eyebrows. The\u00a0Lancers did lose once&#8230;to Bishop Diego.\u00a0Who doesn&#8217;t lose to Bishop Diego?\u00a0La Salle outscored its other two opponents, Monrovia and El Camino Real, 70-6. Quarterback Jake Caan (yes he&#8217;s related to actor James Caan) has thrown\u00a0for 434 yards and five touchdowns and\u00a0Amon Milliner has\u00a0543 yards and seven touchdowns rushing. Muir will fight, the Stangs always do, but\u00a0this Lancer team could be special.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Salle\u00a031 Muir 21\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crescenta Valley (1-1) at La Canada (2-1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the first two games sophomore Cole Doyle is leading the Falcons in both passing and rushing. Probably not what head coach Paul Schilling had in mind but for his offense but they will have to make do after getting hit hard by graduation. La Canada is relying heavily on the ground attack led by Tyler Breneman and Brandon Sharman. If LC can control the clock with the ground game they will have a shot at the upset.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crescenta Valley 34 La Canada 22<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schurr (3-0) at West Covina (1-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Spartans come into this game with confidence on the rise and relishing the underdog role and being told they aren\u2019t big enough. West Covina got a needed win over South Hills last week and will be looking to build on that win. If the Bulldogs overlook Schurr and come in overconfident, the Spartans will enjoy another upset.<\/p>\n<p><strong>West Covina 20 Schurr 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Francis (2-0) at La Serna (2-1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After playing their first three on the road, the Lancers get to play Friday night in their new digs at the new stadium on the campus of Cal High. Last week\u2019s win over Mira Costa has La Serna feeling fine but St. Francis will be another tough matchup. St. Francis\u2019 has two mixed bag wins. One over a decent West Covina team and a walk in the park against Pasadena.
