(Alhambra) –\u00a0Montebello ran out to a 30-0 lead\u00a0after three quarters and settled for 30-12 rout of Alhambra\u00a0Friday night at Moor Field.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Gabriel Tapia completed 7 of 18 for 99 yards and two touchdowns for Montebello and he also had 14 carries for 38 yards and\u00a0scored on an 18-yard keeper. His touchdown run in the third quarter gave the Oilers\u00a0a 23-0 lead. Montebello had\u00a0218 yards rushing and\u00a0317 yards in total offense.<\/p>\n
For Alhambra Dominic Wilson\u00a0was five of 23 for 118 yards\u00a0with one touchdown and an interception.\u00a0Dylan Araiza caught two passes for 95 yards including\u00a042-yard TD from Wilson.<\/p>\n
The Moors\u00a0had 190 yards overall and were held to just 72 yards on the ground.\u00a0Alhambra fell to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the Almont League. Montebello is 5-1 and 1-0.<\/p>\n
