The Mustangs feature an extremely balanced attack (2,209 passing, 2,216 rushing) led by Luke Wilson’s 2,209 yards passing and 21 td’s. Jaydyn Webb leads the ground attack with 977 yards and 12 td’s. On defense Yorba Linda features two bad dudes extraordinaire. MLB Noah Lines has accounted for 145 total tackles and DE Jacob Dennisen adds another 106 and 11 sacks. If Burbank can’t contain these two it will be a long night. The Bulldogs will counter with Guy Gibbs and Nicolas Warren on offense who have accounted for 34 scores between them. They will need their best efforts and a couple of big plays from Darnell Williams to get past the Mustangs on the road. It’s been a great and somewhat unexpected run for Burbank but the road ends in Yorba Linda.

Yorba Linda 35 Burbank 24

**

Saturday

Division 12

Rancho Mirage (11-2) at Arroyo (12-1)

There is probably no hotter quarterback in the SGV than Arroyo’s Ernesto Camacho coming off a seven touchdown performance last week against Segerstrom. If the the sophomore signal caller can remain in the zone and continue with the hot hand, Rancho Mirage will be in for a long night. On the other side of the ball Cesario Carrillo and Daniel Mendoza lead a Knight defense giving up just under 14 points per game. The defense will need to be stout against a Rattler team averaging 37 a game. On the other side of the ball Rancho Mirage likes to get it done on the ground with Kyle Whitfield (1,447 and 27 td’s) and Marques Prior (929 and 15 td’s). On defense Rancho Mirage is giving up a stingy 11 points a game. Justin Ramirez (13 sacks) and Mario Montalvo (62 tackles) will need to find a way to get pressure on Camacho if the Rattlers want to stay in this game. In the end Arroyo will be too much on offense to contain and Jim Singiser gets his first CIF Title.

Arroyo 42 Rancho Mirage 30

[3
12435,11575,12467,4596,12466,12468,12462,12398,7982,12444,7642,2539,11941,7435,9317,12433,7127,10766
post-56670","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-high-school-sports","tag-andrew-manuele","tag-bobby-cole","tag-corona-del-mar-football","tag-dale-ziola","tag-edison-football","tag-johnny-hawkins","tag-khayman-king","tag-kody-olmos","tag-la-mirada-football","tag-los-alamitos-football","tag-los-altos-football","tag-mike-moschetti","tag-oaks-christian-football","tag-paraclete-football","tag-petros-papadakis","tag-serrano-football","tag-sierra-canyon-football","tag-tyler-nevens
["GET
