The decade belonged to Schurr<\/p><\/div>\n

The last decade in the Almont was interesting in a number of ways. Perennial doormat San Gabriel was one of two teams to make a title run, and forever shed its reputation for bad football. Keppel just got worse, but there was a serious break down at both Montebello and Bell Gardens. Alhambra, largely by virtue of not having a coaching change, was very consistent.<\/p>\n

The big mark was made by Elvin Dick\u2019s 2006 Schurr Spartans who brought the league a CIF title.<\/p>\n
