(Los Angeles) -Manchester City used a big second half to rout Real Madrid 4-1 Wednesday night in the International Champions Cup at the LA Memorial Coliseum. The 93,098 that witnessed the match was the largest crowd to see a soccer game in Coliseum history. <\/p>\n

Real Madrid and Manchester City played to a scoreless first half. Both sides had opportunities but neither could cash in. Manchester City had nine total shots compared to six for Real Madrid. Both teams had three shots on target.<\/p>\n

Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne found some space in the 14th minute but his shot was just wide.<\/p>\n

In the 24th De Bruyne found Sergio Aguero on a nice pass but Real Madrid keeper Keylar Navas stopped De Bruyne’s shot.<\/p>\n

Kari Mostafa Benzema got off a blast in the 27th minute but Ederson Moraes made the save for Manchester City and the teams went into the break tied at zero.<\/p>\n

Manchester City took control in the second half. In the 51st minute Nicolas Otamendi scored off a rebound of John Stones’ header.In the 58th minute Raheem Sterling made it 2-0 as he finished off a dish from De Bruyne.<\/p>\n

In the 66th minute Stones found the net as he slid one by the Real Madrid keeper and it was 3-0.<\/p>\n

In the 81st minute Brahim Diaz blasted one in from distance to make it 4-0 and the rout was on.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid avoided the shutout in the 89th minute when Oscar Rodriguez booted one home for the final goal of the night.<\/p>\n

The zero was erased for Madrid but the night belonged to Manchester City.<\/p>\n
