After a slow first half, the Eagles turned up the pressure in the second half and pillaged the Buccaneers to the tune of a 35-8 victory.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Buccaneers did get the first points on the night only not on offense. Tovar finised the first half with seven carries for 92 yards and the score.<\/p>\n<p>South El Monte pushed their lead to 14-2 with just under seven minutes left in the third. Daniel Olmos called his own number from one yard out to cap a 10 play 72 yard drive. Olmos would score again a few minutes later to up the lead to 21-2. The only other score for Bellflower was a 91 yards kick return by J&#8217;lon Manning.<\/p>\n<p>Early in the final frame Tovar got his second score on a four yard run that finished of a five play 41 yard drive.
