At any given time the last two weeks, the top two in the rankings could be flip-flopped.\u00a0 By virtue of West Ranch\u2019s victory in Lancaster tournament, La Canada holds the top spot barely.<\/p>\n

Bonita and Arroyo shouldn\u2019t have any challengers heading into their perspective league match-ups.<\/p>\n

The best battle to watch will be the Valle Vista as Covina, San Dimas, and Northview will all battle for the top spot.<\/p>\n

  3. Bonita (8-1-1) \u2013 Chloe Wurst averaging seven strikeouts a game and is 5-0.a<\/li>\n
  4. Arroyo (7-1) \u2013 Knights dropped Arroyo Tournament opener, but also beat Rosemead in MVL opener.<\/li>\n
  5. Village Christian (7-1) \u2013 Emily Seidel and Katie Lucas lead the Crusaders with their bats and arms.<\/li>\n
  6. Los Altos (4-2) \u2013 Conquerors lack offensive punch in loss to Northview.<\/li>\n
  7. West Covina (6-2) \u2013 Dekota Monarrez three wins and four home-runs lead the Bulldogs.<\/li>\n
  8. La Salle (5-3) \u2013 Allie Forillo averaging nearly 12 strikeouts a game and Colleen McWilliams leads the team in hitting.<\/li>\n
  9. Covina (3-0) \u2013 Colts begin the season strong with good pitching from Jen Vargas.<\/li>\n
  10. Keppel (4-0) \u2013 Aztecs begin the season on a roll, but must contend with improved Almont League.<\/li>\n
  11. Whittier (6-3) \u2013 Pauline Preciado adds some pop to a good hitting Cardinals lineup.<\/li>\n
  12. South Hills (4-3-1)\u00a0– Huskies biggest question mark this season is their pitching.<\/li>\n
  13. San Gabriel (6-4) \u2013 Matadors have their sight set on Almont League title.<\/li>\n
  14. Monrovia (5-2) \u2013 Brooke Cowell leads the team with six RBI\u2019s in young season.<\/li>\n
  15. Maranatha (4-2) \u2013 Minutemen would be higher if not for the loss to SG Mission.<\/li>\n
  16. Whittier Christian (5-5) \u2013 Heralds tough pre-season schedule will be beneficial come playoff time.<\/li>\n
  17. San Dimas (3-2) \u2013 Saints start Valle Vista League schedule with convincing win over Baldwin Park.<\/li>\n
  18. Charter Oak (6-5) \u2013 Had a tough time in Jurupa Valley Tournament with three straight losses.<\/li>\n
  19. Hoover (3-1) \u2013 Tornadoes start the season hot and beat Whittier in the process.<\/li>\n
