Christopher, the smaller of the pair, measuring 6-4 and 270 pounds. His \u201cbig\u201d brother, Christian, is 6-5, and tips the scales at 295. These two anchor an offensive line that opened gaping holes and allowed no sacks over four quarters.<\/p>\n<p>The Lions opened the scoring with a touchdown pass from quarterback Nathan Velasquez to tight end Luis &#8220;Shrek&#8221; Valerio. Running back Abel Cueva, the evening\u2019s primary offensive weapon, carried the ball 25 times for 132 yards and two rushing scores. Cueva also caught a touchdown pass from running back Marcos Figueroa. The remainder of the Lions\u2019 scoring came on a successful two-point after attempt.<\/p>\n<p>Mountain View\u2019s scoring was provided, in total, by fullback Juan Medina. Medina rushed for 74 yards, including touchdown runs of 2, 12, and 17-yards. Additionally, Medina converted Mountain View\u2019s one successful two-point after attempt.<\/p>\n<p>El Monte\u2019s next contest is scheduled for 10\/6\/17. The Lions host the Marshall Eagles at Mountain View High School Also on 10\/6\/17; Mountain View travels to Rosemead to take on the Panthers.
