(Alhambra) – Bell Gardens took\u00a0 advantage of two Alhambra turnovers and the Lancer offense kicked it into high gear in the second half in a 49-21 rout of the Moors Friday night at Moor Field.<\/p>\n
Bell Gardens had 390 total yards of offense compared to 164 for Alhambra. Gabriel Campos rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown for the Lancers. Jesus Sandoval also had 101 and two scores, including a 60-yard scoring burst in the final seconds.<\/p>\n
Braham Rodriguez had 61 yards on 16 carries and a pair of scores. Agustin Velasquez added to the numbers through the air completing 8 of 11 for 88 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n
For Alhambra Julien Garcia was 13 of 25 for 156 yards and two touchdowns but he was hurt by two picks. Both of the interceptions set up Bell Gardens’ touchdowns. Dylan Araiza had a 97-yard kickoff return for a score and Jared Araiza had five catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n
With the victory BG stayed undefeated in the Almont improving to 3-0 (5-3 overall) while Alhambra dropped to 1-2 and 3-4.<\/p>\n
