(Montebello) – Miguel Aguero threw for 374 yards and five touchdowns to lead Schurr to a 48-20 rout of Alhambra Friday night on the Spartans home field.<\/p>\n
With the victory Schurr wrapped up a perfect 5-0 run in the Almont League and now looks forward to the playoffs.<\/p>\n
Aguero completed 24 of 31 overall with an interception. His favorite target was Lance Babb who caught 12 passes for 121 yard and two scores. Francisco Remigio had five receptions for 135 yards and also hauled in a pair of touchdowns including one for 78 yards. Remigio, the Spartans swiss army knife, also had a pick six. Aaron Silva caught five passes for 102 yards as Schurr racked up 423 total yards of offense.<\/p>\n
For the Moors, Julien Garcia was 11 of 26 for 132 yards, two touchdowns and a pick. Abraham Campbell had six catches for for 79 yards and a score. Salmun Gurung led the Moors ground attack with 90 yards on 12 carries.<\/p>\n
Schurr finished 9-1 overall while Alhambra ended the season 4-5 overall and 2-3 in the Almont.<\/p>\n
