The Lancers are used to winning the Del Rio. A loss to Santa Fe wasn’t in their plans. The Lancers rolled through league after that loss but it did throw a wrench in their season. As for the Golden Knights, they’re still mad about losing to Cathedral. They’ll probably take it out on La Serna. What isn’t good for the Monrovia faithful is that the Wildcats now face a Yorba Linda team that is anything but a pushover. The Mustangs three losses were to teams that were a combined 27-3 including Capistrano Valley which was 10-0. A home crowd and a couple of scores early could keep the Wildcats in the game. Otherwise it could be a long night for the green and white. Since losing to Covina 36-35 on October 7, San Dimas has reeled off four straight scoring 215 points in the process. Yeah, 215. They have had some struggles on defense, they allowed 42 to Northview as well as the 35 to the Colts, but the offense has been prolific. Kaiser could pose a problem. The Cats finished second in the always competitive Sunkist and can put points on the board. But if the Saints offense continues to click and the defense can make a couple of stops they should be fine. San Dimas wins a close call.

San Dimas 31 Kaiser 27

**

DIV 10

Montebello (7-3, Almont #2T) at Pasadena Poly (8-1-1, Prep #1)

Pasadena Poly’s record may be a little inflated. Yes the Panthers did win eight games and they haven’t lost since August 25 when Temple City beat them 20-7. But here’s the rub. Temple City didn’t make the playoffs and the argument can be made that Pasadena Poly hasn’t played anybody since then. Montebello is on the road but the drive to Rose City is short and sweet. On the field the Oilers came within four points of running the Almont League table. The Knights may run into some trouble down the road but they’ll be fine in this one. Arroyo jumps out to an early lead and never looks back.
