(Pomona) – Keith Richardson, who took over as the Pomona head coach during the 2014 season when the Red Devils won the CIF title, was fired this week sources confirmed.<\/p>\n
Richardson replaced Aaron Jamieson who was let go before the playoffs started in 2014, and led Pomona to the Mid Valley Division Championship where the Red Devils beat Paraclete 37-29.<\/p>\n
Richardson had an overall record of 20-15 and 2-3 in the post season from 2015 to ’17. Pomona advanced to the semi finals in 2105 before losing to Sierra Canyon 65-26.<\/p>\n
This past season the Red Devils went 6-5 and won the Miramonte League crown but lost in the first round of the Division 7 playoffs to Don Lugo 26-0.<\/p>\n
