(Temple City) – Gabe Arellano and Steven Bermudez combined for seven hits and seven runs batted in to lead Monrovia to a 13-4 rout of Temple City Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Bermudez clouted a home run and had 4 RBI while Arellano had four hits and three ribbies to spark a 19 hit attack. The Wildcats put an end to it early scoring six runs in the third inning and five more in the fourth to take an insurmountable 13-2 lead.<\/p>\n
Julian Gomeztrejo worked four innings to pick up the victory. Justin Bowman had two hits and scored twice for Temple City.<\/p>\n
With the victory Monrovia remained unbeaten in the Rio Hondo at 8-0-1. They can clinch the league title with another victory and a San Marino loss. The Cats are 16-3-1 overall. The Rams fell to 10-8-1 and 3-3-1 in league.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
