1. Seattle pitcher James Paxton threw a no-hitter as the Mariners beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-0 Tuesday night in Toronto. Paxton became the first Canadian ever to throw a no-hitter in Canada.<\/p>\n

2. Chris Paul scored 41 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 112-102 series clinching win over the Utah Jazz in Game 5. The Rockets will meet the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.<\/p>\n

3. The Warriors closed out the New Orleans Pelicans in five games.<\/p>\n

4. The Cincinnati Reds acquired pitcher Matt Harvey from the New York Mets for catcher Devin Mesoraco.<\/p>\n

5. The Baltimore Orioles’ Dylan Bundy became the first pitcher in MLB history to give up four home runs without recording an out. He left the game after facing seven batters and allowing seven runs in an eventual 15-7 loss to the Kansas City Royals Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

6. Daniel Descalso belted a three-run home run in the 12th inning to give the Arizona Diamondbacks an 8-5 win over the Dodgers. With the loss the Dodgers dropped to 15-20, nine games behind Arizona.<\/p>\n

7. New Orleans running back Mark Ingram is suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league policy on performance enhancing substances.<\/p>\n

8. Arcadia will face Crescenta Valley Friday night at Stengel Field for the Pacific League crown. The Falcons can wrap up the league with a win while the Apaches can earn a share of the title with a victory.<\/p>\n

9. On this date in 2010 Dallas Braden of the Oakland A’s throws a perfect game in a 4-0 win over Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n
