Three rounds in and I still haven\u2019t gotten the call\u2026I\u2019m starting to wonder if I need to change my career path.<\/p>\n

Speaking of quarterbacks, I follow how the current Mid Valley poll is breaking down with the top four quarterbacks (Aaron Cantu, Nick Bueno, Michael Ball, and Steven Rivera)\u2026Makes sense\u2026But no love for Burbank\u2019s Adam Colman?<\/p>\n

Good question: Do you consider the question being asked in a poll or do you just vote for your guy no matter what?<\/p>\n

This question came to me the other day\u2026I was stunned.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh what\u2019s so special about Michael Ball?\u201d<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve ever seen Michael Ball play you\u2019d know what is so special about him. He\u2019s a threat to score from any spot on the field, he plays an excellent quarterback (29 Tds-9 Ints), and he can play anywhere in the secondary you care to name.<\/p>\n

The struggle for Craig \u201cThe Duke\u201d Snyder and staff will be settling on the parts around him. For the second consecutive year the Raiders lose a top notch running back (Brandon Stansell in 2008) in Josh Onovughe. They also lose a pair of killers along the offensive line in Stewart Hilton and Anthony White (no, not that one).<\/p>\n

The good news is the very, very, under the radar Leonardo Freeman (who seems like he has been around forever) and all San Antonio League linebacker Louie Valdez are back.<\/p>\n

There is hope Joseph Chong (6\u20192\u201d 286 Lbs), a junior to be, will develop in the trenches.<\/p>\n

The Duke will have his hands full right from the start with a non-league schedule featuring Baldwin Park, Cal, Rosemead, and Claremont.<\/p>\n

Why is Michael Ball special? Because he makes Rowland a lock for the post-season\u2026and in the post-season anything can happen.<\/p>\n

Does the NBA, NHL, or MLB really matter right now?<\/p>\n

Look I can do it too: The two finalists for the Temple City job are Keith Jones and D.J. MacKinnon.<\/p>\n

\u2026Or Erick Escamilla and Skip Picou\u2026 It\u2019s easy to write it, it just doesn\u2019t make it true, or always appropriate\u2026<\/p>\n

After the Rams made their pick yesterday I felt like going up to Coach Spags, ala Michael Corleone to Fredo in Godfather Part Two, and saying: \u201cYou broke my heart\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

So I\u2019ll learn to live with Sam \u201cThe Man\u201d Bradford. San Gabriel alum Chris Walker Spicer, who currently lives in Oklahoma and TC football aficionado Diane Camerano, a Sooner fan, tell me I need to believe in Bradford. Okay, I believe.<\/p>\n

By this afternoon I was beginning to wonder if anyone thought Jimmy Clausen was CFL ready\u2026but I really like Golden Tate\u2026and so did Pete Carroll.<\/p>\n
