(Hacienda Heights) \u2014 Khalil Ali threw three touchdown passes and Juaquin Elliot added three rushing scores in South Hills 49-14 win over Los Altos Friday night at Patrick J. Mauch Memorial Stadium.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Huskies, (9-0) (4-0), made it look easy against the host Conquerors who had trouble stopping the offense. Mid-way through the first quarter, following a Los Altos fumble, Elliot took the handoff and bolted for the games’ first touchdown.<\/p>\n Later in the second quarter, Ali joined the scoring party when he hooked up with Justin Armendariz for the 50-yard strike. Armendariz then threw a 35-yard bomb to Thonye Charles to help set up Elliot\u2019s second rushing score of the night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Finally, just before the half, on fourth and short, Ali found Jordan Sanchez on the quick out he then evaded the defender and raced to the end zone with 1:36 left in the half. Heading into intermission South Hills was up 27-0.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Los Altos struggled offensively throughout the first half punting on five of their first-half drives. The other two ended in a fumble and an interception to finish the second quarter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n South Hills continued to light up the scoreboard in the second half when Charles took the kickoff and cruised for the touchdown, 13 seconds into the third quarter. Two minutes later Elliot punched in his third rushing score of the night, expanding the Husky score to 42-0.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Conquerors finally put points on the board early in the third quarter thanks to Zedekiah Rodriguez who danced around and streaked down the sideline for the score.
