(Downey) – The search for a head football coach at Warren heated up this week as the school conducted a second round of interviews. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Warren completed the first round of interviews last Tuesday and those that were fortunate enough to get invited back for round two returned Tuesday. When the final questions had been asked and the dust had cleared four candidates were left standing as the favorites that have emerged to replace Raul Lara, who stepped down after the season.<\/p>\n
Former Catherdral head coach Kevin Pearson, Brent Perez, Terrance Austin and a prominent former Orange County head coach are all very much in the hunt sources confirmed. Perez was assistant head coach and the Dean of Students at Warren last year and Austin, a former NFL wide receiver, also served on the Bears’ staff.<\/p>\n
