The name of Workman\u2019s Justin Sneddon was recently floated to me. Now my contacts with the Lobos program are close to non-existent… a cousin of a friend, of a girl, who used to know my neighbor, when I was living in Hacienda Heights… but I\u2019m supposed to keep an eye on this guy.<\/p>\n

Somebody want to help me out? I know Sneddon, according to MaxPreps, had a cup of coffee as a freshman last season at running back but that\u2019s all I know.<\/p>\n

Mid Valley Intern Research Assistant Aaron Castro is reporting that the Bonita offensive line is possibly the biggest it has been in a number of years.<\/p>\n

On this date in 1863 the battle of Gettysburg began. I won\u2019t get too heavy, but this is one subject I find far more interesting than sports. Pickett\u2019s Charge and the defense of Little Round Top are now the focus when people study the history of this day, but if you read the accounts, or better actually been to Gettysburg, you know this first day of the battle saved our country.<\/p>\n

You should know the name of John Buford, you should know the history of the Union\u2019s Iron Brigade, and Winfield Scott Hancock\u2019s selection of Cemetary Ridge for for defense at the end of only the first day.<\/p>\n

If you get a chance to go to Gettysburg this summer, go…Give me a call and I\u2019ll give up football to go with you. Very few places historically in this country like Gettysburg.<\/p>\n
