I\u2019ve truly been blessed beyond football to have been your coach. Thank you to my wife Jazmin for your love &amp; support. All the love and best wishes for the admin, school, players, community moving forward. One last time, Go Panthers,&#8221; Castaneda posted in part on Twitter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rosemead compiled a record of 22-20 overall in Casteneda&#8217;s four seasons at the helm. Casteneda was at the school for five years but the Panthers didn&#8217;t play in 2020 or in the spring of 2021 due to the Pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After going 4-6 and 5-4 in his first two years, Casteneda guided the Panthers to a 7-4 record overall and into the first round of the CIF Division 13 playoffs in 2019 where they fell to Ramona 35-28. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last season Rosemead went 4-1 in the Mission Valley League, good for second place and beat Rancho Alamitos 28-7 in the first round of the CIF Division 12 playoffs.
