\u201cWork together, win together,\u201d a quote from Harbaugh\u2019s daughter Katie, repeated by her father, served as the thread of his message to the media.<\/p>\n

With over 500 people in attendance\u2014media, team personnel, and family\u2014Harbaugh took questions for an hour. The questions, all similar, were met with similar remarks from the team\u2019s new HC.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are no magic formulas,\u201d Harbaugh said. \u201cJust hard work\u2026 I\u2019ll be working until it\u2019s cocked, locked, and the roster is ready to rock.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harbaugh was optimistic about raising starting quarterback Justin Herbert\u2019s game and the opportunity to work with several key players. He mentioned Derwin James, Keenan Allen, and Rashawn Slater by name.<\/p>\n

Among the challenges facing Harbaugh and new Charger General Manager Joe Hortiz is the pending free agency of Mike Davis, Austin Ekeler, and Gerald Everett. And a salary dilemma that has the Bolts currently 45-million dollars over the cap.<\/p>\n
