He assisted on the coaching staff from 2016-&#8217;17 and again from 2021-&#8217;24, both times under Ramos.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has coached defensive backs, linebackers and has served as the Special Teams Coordinator.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m excited, I\u2019m humbled, I\u2019m honored, I\u2019m emotional, and every other feeling you can imagine. I\u2019m 32 years old and I understand many don\u2019t get this opportunity this young,&#8221; Montoya said. &#8220;I\u2019ve worked my butt off for this opportunity so I\u2019m excited but I know I have a lot of work to do and some big shoes to fill.
