1. The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LXI in New Orleans Sunday. <\/p>\n

2. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts waa named MVP as he completed 17 of 22 for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns and an interception. He also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.<\/p>\n

3. Kansas City turned the ball over three times as Patrick Mahomes threw two interceptions and also lost a fumble. <\/p>\n

4. Cooper DeJean turned one of Mahomes’ interceptions into a pick six for Philadelphia to make it 17-0 in the second quarter. <\/p>\n

5. Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley had just 57 yards on 25 carries.  <\/p>\n

6. Mahomes was sacked six times by the Eagles’ defense, with 2 1\/2 sacks credited to Josh Sweat.<\/p>\n

7. The Eagles stopped the Chiefs quest of a three-peat after winning the previous two Super Bowls. No them has ever won three consecutive Super Bowls.<\/p>\n

8. The Super Bowl victory was the second in franchise history for the Eagles who also beat  the New England Patriots in 2018. They Eagles are 2-3 overall in Super Bowls. <\/p>\n

9. The Eagles led 24-0 at halftime and held the Chiefs to just 23 total yards in the first half.<\/p>\n

10. The Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens are the early favorites to win the Super Bowl next year according to sportsbooks. The Eagles are third.<\/p>\n
